This holiday card was sent to vendors and corporate contacts of SGX Pharmaceuticals (SGX), a San Diego biotechnology company.

I wanted the card to have a recognizable 'biotech' theme, yet still be attractive enough to work on it's own merits if someone didn't understand the reference.

I accomplished this with a visual pun: the beautiful symmetrical 'snowflakes' are scientific diagrams of protein structures discovered at SGX, collaged with a wintery snowscape. The card was printed in a blue duotone.
